One more thing about the Scooper Bowl

As Charlotte and I walked toward our car we passed City Hall and who happened to be loading up an SUV but Boston Mayor Tom Menino! I waved at him and he waved back then got in his car. The driver of the car started going, all before I could have taken a picture. Strangely, that made the day extra special, even after all of the sites and sounds. Seeing a mayor just wearing a dress shirt and tie, no suit coat, going on to take care of the town. It was pretty special.
