A beautiful day in Portsmouth

Today was the Portsmouth Public Library’s annual summer reading program kick off party at 4 Tree Island in Portsmouth. Charlotte asked if I’d help out with handing out snacks for the kids. There were gummy sharks and gummy flip-flops (chanclas to me). There were also Goldfish crackers. All the snacks, stories read by Charlotte, face paintings, parade, and crafts were connected to this year’s theme: Make a Splash.
