A Return to King Richard’s Faire
On September 26th Charlotte and I returned to King Richard’s Faire in Carver, MA. Last year we went for our anniversary and it was cold. We booked our ticked around Valentine’s Day during a special sale they were having. We planned to not go too early during the Renaissance faire’s season because it would be hot, but also knew we couldn’t wait to go as late in the season as we did before because it would be cold. We picked late September and the weather was partly cloudy and great. We saw fire juggling, balancing acts, jousting, sword fighting, and even a disturbing tourture show. It was all fun and the food was great. The faire, as most Renassiance faires are, was not cheap and the price gouging was apparent everywhere. The day was definitely worth it!
