After the high school and college years ended, in fact within about 3 days of graduating, Lorenzo Arredondo moved to the Dallas, Texas area. It was finally time to make use of the degree that had taken 5 years to earn. All of the work would now pay off with a classroom of his own.

The Plano Independent School District called and Lorenzo responded. For two years from the 2002-2003 school year to the 2003-2004 school year, fourth grade would be the home to some of the best learning experiences yet. During the 2004-2005 school year Mr. Arredondo moved to the second grade at Daffron.

In the August of 2005 the Arredondos moved to New Hampshire. Lorenzo substituted for a year in schools in Rochester, New Hampshire. In the fall of 2006 Lorenzo began teaching at the Lowell Community Charter Public School in Lowell, Massachusetts. He taught 7th grade mathematics and science. The following year, and to this day, Lorenzo Arredondo is teaching fifth grade at the charter school. This section of SlyTheFox.com is about the experiences in education during The Teacher Years.
